Paul Rose is without doubt one of the most talented guitarists in the world today. His main-style is rock music but jazz, blues, country and folk influences are also reflected in his music.
Born in 1966 in Newcastle, Paul discovered his love for the music at a pretty early age. Throughout his youth, he liked to listen to bands like ABBA, The Bee Gees and The Carpenters but he also loved classical music, such as Beethoven and Bach. He was elected as best guitarist of the UK when he was just 16 years old. This was an award which still means a lot to him because the man who chose him as the winner was the legendary Rory Gallagher. In 1995 Paul won the “Guitarist Of The Year ´95” award from the British Guitarist Magazine. The renown from winning such awards, in addition to his amazing skills on the guitar, have kept Paul working steadily as session-musician over the years. His main focus is his own project where he plays with renowned musicians such as Michael Schenker and Ted McKenna.
