Guitarist Ernesto Homeyer was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina in 1968, lives in Los Angeles since 1995 and plays in the rock-fusion band EGH.

He was inspired in his young years by his father, who plays the accordion, and his sister, who plays the guitar. At the age of 12 he took piano lessons and at 13 started learning to play the guitar. Ernesto also works as a producer, recording engineer and is an instructor at the Musicians Institute in Hollywood, California. His musical influences were guitar players like Michael Schenker, Eddie Van Halen, Ynqwie Malmsteen, Greg Howe and Jason Becker.

He has released so far the albums Breakthrough with Jacob Armen in 2000, and It"s About Time with EGH in 2003.
